I am with T. Greer: when a Snorri Stirluson comes to tell the tale of the death of the open Internet, they will spend a few moments to sing the rise and fall of scienceblogs and its diaspora into the distant ages. And people in the United States have been dealing with some pretty heavy stuff this decade, its OK if they turn inwards and leave the nerding out to us in other countries.
